News in from Chicksands.

There have been health and safety issues with the Chicksands North Shore which has lead to some of the older structures being taken down or modified.
One of the casualties has been the much loved (feared) ladder drop.
Until this weekend, you had the opportunity to roll the drop.
Sadly, those who didn't get round to doing it don't get that chance any more.
The roll-down has gone for good.
It has been changed to a drop off of 5ft to 6ft mimimum.
The very last Carnival member to do the drop was also one of our youngest.
